Job summary

Strand Ace Hardware is hiring friendly team members to welcome and assist customers. Previous hardware experience is a plus but not required, as we provide extensive training to help you succeed.

We are a locally owned family business with a strong community focus, serving Escalon, Manteca, Modesto, Oakdale and Ripon. Expect a lively, high-energy environment, a schedule planned two weeks in advance, and opportunities to grow into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• No hardware experience required; extensive training provided.
• Entry-level friendly team member with a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and help them find everything they need for projects.
• Assist customers with product recommendations and basic queries.
• Maintain a high-energy, friendly store atmosphere.
• Stand on shift and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.

• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs.
