Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking friendly team members to welcome and assist customers. Training will be provided; hardware experience is a plus but not required. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, store operations, and a positive, professional presence in a community-focused environment.

Two-week advance scheduling supports work-life balance, with opportunities for growth and skill-building. Basic education is required, and Spanish ability is a major plus to serve a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Formal retail experience preferred.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and help them find items to complete their projects.
• Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware.
• Proactively assist customers with problems and questions.
• Greet customers and thank them at checkout and exit.
• Maintain product knowledge and store layout awareness.
• Assist with stocking, back stock, and merchandising tasks.
• Operate forklift with proper training.
• Support department specialists with price changes and special orders.
