Job summary

9 Mothers, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own the WBS and integrated schedule for our hardware development programs. You will drive weekly coordination, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will translate customer commitments into actionable plans, lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, test, and delivery, and keep leadership informed with a current, honest view of status and decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware project management experience in robotics/defense/aerospace.
• Engineering background; able to follow technical discussions and earn the respect of senior engineers.
• Proven ownership of WBS and integrated schedules on multi-disciplinary programs.

Responsibilities

• Build and own WBS across product lines with owners and dates.
• Maintain integrated master schedule and serve as single source of truth.
• Identify critical path and flag slips early to re-prioritize.
• Run weekly coordination meetings and capture actions with owners and dates.
