Job summary

fab2 in Austin, TX is seeking a Technical Program Manager - Hardware to accelerate development of our semiconductor fab. You will translate top-level company goals into technical programs and drive execution from concept through integration.

You'll report to our CEO, Sam Zeloof, and build out the system that coordinates Atomic Semi's mechanical, electrical, software, and production teams. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional execution across hardware domains, managing risk, and

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing complex hardware projects.
Ability to meet tight engineering timelines and manage trade-offs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with project management software.
Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the development of fab tools and components from requirements definition to production release.
Drive cross-functional execution across mechanical, electrical, embedded/software, and production to hit spec and schedule.
Maintain the critical path, surface technical risks early, and define mitigations and alternate routes to keep projects moving.
Communicate status, decisions, and risks proactively across teams and up to leadership.
Build lightweight project management systems for planning, communication, and visibility.
