Hyliion Inc. seeks a Technical Program Manager to own hardware program planning and cross-functional coordination, bridging engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and operations to move beta-stage designs into production.

The role emphasizes structured problem solving, KPI tracking, and effective leadership in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with travel to supplier sites and production facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating hardware programs, bridging engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate complex insights for executives and teams.
• Proven ability to drive programs from prototype validation to production ramp.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end program execution of assembling components from prototype to initial production ramp.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
• Apply structured problem-solving to diagnose challenges and develop data-backed solutions.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to align engineering, operations, procurement, quality assurance and vendors.
• Coordinate testing and validation of parts (mechanical, thermal, durability) in real-world applications.
• Assist in supplier sourcing and DFMEA activities; track ECRs from design changes.
• Report program status and blockers to leadership; monitor KPIs and dashboards.
• Provide regular progress updates against strategic objectives.
