Maysteel-Industries-LLC is seeking a Hardware Operator to set up, operate, and maintain PEM insertion machines for installing fasteners into sheet metal. You will work with the production team to ensure accurate placement and high-quality results while adhering to safety standards.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and communication skills, and experience with power and hand tools. This on-site role requires attention to detail and adherence to specifications.
The Hardware Operator is responsible for accurately setting up, operating and maintaining PEM insertion machines to install fasteners and hardware into sheet metal according to specifications. The operator will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate placement of components while maintaining high quality standards throughout the process.
A high school diploma, GED or equivalent
Experience with power and hand tools is a plus
Basic math and communication skills required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift, carry, push, pull, grip, and grasp up to 35 lbs. Employees also frequently bend, twist, and reach and may stand and/or walk up to 8-10 hours per day.
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Job consists of working in a manufacturing facility. Job could consist of making changes by hand or by running machinery equipment.
