Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking a Hardware Integrator / Test Technician in Manassas, VA, for a long-term contractor role supporting Navy cybersecurity labs. The role involves assembling test racks, building servers, cabling, and coordinating with facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in engineering or tech, 5+ years in submarine combat control or related field, and basic Linux/networking knowledge. US Citizenship and ability to obtain clearance required.

Qualifications

• Ability to assemble and test computer equipment.
• High level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Understanding of networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, ICMP, encryption).
• Analytical problem-solving approach is a must.
• Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble test racks with components, servers, switches, KVMs, etc.
• Cable interconnections within the test rack and to lab connections.
• Build servers with COTS and GOTS software; configure switches.
• Track equipment movement (government and company).
• Assist in lab planning, power, cooling, and BOM generation.
• Support hardware issue diagnosis and vendor coordination.
• Conduct tests to validate requirements and prepare test reports.
