Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Hardware Integration & NPI Engineering Operations Lead to drive end-to-end integration readiness from hardware bring-up through NPI builds, ensuring seamless transfer from engineering to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate aligns cross-functional teams, closes design-to-manufacturing gaps, and delivers high-quality builds in fast-paced environments. You will own execution reviews and lead cross-site coordination to maintain program timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of engineering deliverables across hardware integration, manufacturing process development, NPI, and production ramp
• Drive alignment and validation across HW, MFG Test, Quality, Supply Chain, and Development teams
• Ensure readiness across all functions prior to pre-production and pilot builds
• Plan and track manufacturing process development activities (BOM, process documentation, build readiness)
• Track execution of pre-production and pilot builds, ensuring smooth transition to volume
• Quickly resolve roadblocks related to material availability, line scheduling, and technical issues
• Triage and manage escalations impacting build execution, factory output, and program timelines
• Drive clarity of ownership and ensure no gaps in responsibility across functions
• Lead execution reviews, daily/weekly operations cadence, and leadership updates

This role owns end-to-end integration readiness, ensuring a seamless transition from engineering to manufacturing with strong execution rigor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant experience.
• Experience:
  • Experience in hardware integration, system engineering, or NPI manufacturing process development and transfer to mass production
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle from design through factory ramp
  • Strong experience with system and rack-level integration in NPI environments
  • Proven execution leadership across engineering and manufacturing organizationProven ability to drive execution across cross-functional hardware engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Hands-on experience in production problem-solving
• Communication & Leadership Expectations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and customers
  • Drive alignment across teams and stakeholders, including cross-functional organizations

Compensation: $157,000 to $190,000
