SJE Inc. is seeking a Hardware Firmware Engineer in Detroit Lakes, MN to develop hardware and firmware for embedded control products.
You will design hardware and software for end-use control solutions and support product development from conception through manufacturing integration. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of embedded experience and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, with proficiency in C/C++.

The job:
As our Hardware Firmware Engineer, you will develop hardware and firmware solutions for new products that meet specifications and customer and market expectations. Your day-to-day work will focus on designing hardware for embedded control applications, integrating embedded products into end-use control products, and integrating firmware into embedded hardware.
You will work throughout the product development lifecycle, from specifications and circuit design through prototyping, testing, validation, documentation, and manufacturing integration. You will also provide technical and sustaining engineering support for existing products and collaborate with internal teams and external customers to create new products and further develop existing product lines.

A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required, and 1-3 years of experience is preferred.
