Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking a full-time Lead RF Engineer to support space domain and missile warning missions in Huntsville, AL. The role requires leading RF design, integration, and test activities across multiple engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in RF hardware, calibration, and system-level troubleshooting, with US citizenship and ability to obtain an active DoD security clearance. Hybrid development environment may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years of relevant experience or Graduate degree with 7+ years.
• Experience with government customers (USAF/USSF) preferred.
• Familiarity with military and industrial hardware standards.
• Hands-on RF hardware design, measurements, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF engineering execution across multidisciplinary teams and resolve design tradeoffs.
• Develop RF plans, coordinate activities, and review with systems, software, and test engineers.
• Define RF subsystem requirements, architectures, interfaces, and signal-path specs.
• Perform link-budget, frequency, and interference analyses to assess performance.
