Responsibilities

  • Automate all aspects of the server and liquid cooling hardware lifecycle.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for hardware and liquid cooling escalation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define server and liquid cooling hardware requirements, specifications, and system architecture.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of liquid cooling hardware designs, specifications, test procedures, and results.
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of liquid cooling hardware systems, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Establish processes for internal liquid cooling hardware testing, deployment, and performance optimization.
  • Design, validate, and support rack‑level liquid cooling solutions, including in‑rack CDU (Coolant Distribution Unit) configurations.
  • Work with liquid‑to‑air sidecars and end‑of‑row CDUs to manage heat rejection and optimize thermal performance.
  • Collaborate with data center facilities teams to integrate liquid cooling systems into broader infrastructure designs.
  • Develop and implement monitoring, alerting, and control systems for liquid cooling components (e.g., pumps, valves, flow sensors).
  • Interface with server vendors and OEMs to validate compatibility of hardware with liquid‑cooled chassis and configurations.
