Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Creative Hardware Engineering Co-op to contribute across the hardware development spectrum, from circuit design to system level validation. You'll work on ASIC/board design projects and collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to enable scalable production.

The 6-month program targets students pursuing EE/CE; you will gain hands-on experience with CAD tools, lab equipment, and scripting for automation, while delivering concrete hardware results and supporting

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with 2 years of relevant experience or currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with 0 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient understanding of hardware engineering principles and experience with hardware design tools and software (e.g., CAD tools, simulation software, PCB design, etc.).
  • Familiarity with hardware testing, debugging techniques, and standard lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++) for automation, data analysis, or hardware interface tasks.
  • Understanding of digital and analog circuit design concepts.
  • Able to commit to a 6-month co‑op program.
