Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Bioengineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of product development experience.
  • Experience with biotechnology processes related to DNA synthesis.
  • Familiar with CAD (SolidWorks) and design control.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Directly contribute to the development of hardware systems enabling rapid advancement of the CMOS DNA synthesis platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and validate custom hardware systems/solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Atlas systems.
  • Design and develop hardware for feasibility studies and design validation.
  • Conduct experimental testing, collect data, and maintain documentation.
  • Assist with tooling/fixture design and lab implementation.
