Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, Texas seeks a Specialist Electrical Engineer to join the Intercommunication Systems team. You will design system components, perform parts selection, schematic/layout, and firmware work across design, build, test, and support phases.

You will collaborate with project, software, and systems engineers to deliver ICS products, require TS/SCI clearance eligibility, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Graduate degree plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of related engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in digital and mixed-signal hardware design.
• Experience across all hardware development phases (requirements to verification).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of advanced digital and mixed-signal hardware.
• Support all hardware development phases including schematic capture and testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues at component, board, module, and system levels.
• Use lab instruments to validate designs and investigate issues.
• Collaborate with project, software, and systems engineers to deliver ICS products.
