Job summary

KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems (MAGS) division seeks a Hardware Engineer to support the LTI product office and current programs through requirements review, qualification planning, and major engineering reviews. You will contribute to obsolescence mitigation and new hardware qualification across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Systems Preferred) with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • PhD in lieu of relevant experience.
  • Experience with hardware technical data packages, missile system hardware, engineering design reviews, and hardware integration.
  • Active security clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Hardware Engineer Subject Matter Expert supporting LTI Systems Engineering on LTI managed PATRIOT Launcher and GEM-T Missile Programs.
  • Provide technical support at IPT meetings, working groups, and TIM.
  • Support major System Engineering reviews like SRR, PDR, and CDR.
  • Use engineering knowledge to ensure qualification test plans adequately test new hardware.
