Job summary

Hirematic Talent Solutions in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Hardware Engineer with 5+ years of experience in hardware design, testing, troubleshooting, and system-level verification. You will design and test microprocessor/microcontroller, memory, I/O, analog/digital circuits and support Ethernet/USB design and certification activities.

This role requires hands-on soldering, PCB layout experience, and the ability to manage prototype builds from BOM through assembly and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in hardware design, testing, troubleshooting and system-level verification.
• Hands-on soldering and hardware troubleshooting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform product testing, hardware mapping, test case creation, and design verification.
• Troubleshoot hardware boards, board bring-up, and document/report anomalies.
• Read and update schematics; support PCB layout and board-level design.
• Design and test microprocessors/microcontrollers, memory, I/O, analog/digital circuits.
• Perform Ethernet/USB design, testing, and certification activities.
• Develop and update test stands and resolve hardware issues.
• Use oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other tools for signal-integrity testing.
• Apply EMI/EMC reduction techniques and support regulatory certification testing.
• Manage prototype builds from BOM creation through assembly and testing.
• Hands-on soldering and hardware troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools required.
• Preferred: Design-for-circuits experience and certification testing experience.

Job Summary:

Seeking a Hardware Engineer with 5+ years of experience in hardware design, testing, troubleshooting, and system-level verification.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
