Job summary

eInfochips, an Arrow company, is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to design and develop complex electronic boards for client projects. You will work on microprocessor and microcontroller-based designs, perform high-speed interface work, and collaborate with fabrication, test, and customer teams to ensure robust performance.

The role requires a 4-year electrical/electronics degree and about 8+ years of related experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience; or 5 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent.
• Support certification activities for FCC, IC, CE in multiple countries.
• Do hardware testing in Lab.

Responsibilities

• Design boards with microprocessors (iMX8/iMX9) and microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32).
• Perform layout, high-speed interface guidelines, signal/power/thermal analysis, and Gerber review.
• Coordinate with fabrication/assembly teams and conduct bring-up and testing.
• Design sensor boards (motion, light, accel, temp, gyro, magnetometer) and integrate with HMI module using SPI/I2C/Serial/USB/DSI/CSI.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Experience designing boards with microprocessors (Iike iMX8, iMX9) and microcontroller (ESP32, STM32) is essential.


• Good understanding of Display inerfases MIPI DSI, Parallel Bus, LVDS, HDMI


• Camera interfaces , CSI, USB


• Schematics, Layouts - Uage of tools Altium, Cadence


• Toruble shooting the hardware boards


• Good understanding of Lab tests EMI/EMC


• Good understanding of certifications and regulatory requirements (UL/FCC)


• Cost estimations/Component selection/BOM creations


• Supplier interaction


• Electronics Design & Development, select components and design schematics, collaborate with customer on component placement and PCB size.


• Do layout design and high-speed interface guidelines, perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis and review Gerber files. Testing


• Design sensor boards (Motion, Light, Accelerometer, Temperature, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, calibrate sensors) and integrate with HMI Module. Protocol experience in SPI, I2C, Serial, UART, USB, DSI, CSI


• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and integration teams, conduct bring-up, functional, EDVT, thermal, and performance testing.

What We Are Looking For

Experience / Education Typically requires a 4 year degree in electrical/electronics and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or 5 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.

Support certification activities for multiple countries (FCC, IC, CE), debug and resolve issues during certification testing.

Do hardware Testing in Lab

Address field-testing issues and verify hardware use cases.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate

$79,900.00 - $126,500.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
