Job summary

AlpHa Measurement Solutions, a Houston-based subsidiary of Enpro, seeks a Hardware Electrical Engineer to own the electrical design and hands-on build authority for its transmitter platform. The role combines circuit design, PCB prototyping, and certification support, working closely with firmware and mechanical engineers on a loop-powered 4-20mA system with Modbus output.

The ideal candidate has hands-on bench experience, strong analog/mixed-signal design skills, and familiarity with Altium

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; associate degree considered.
• Experience designing analog/mixed-signal circuits for industrial or instrumentation applications.
• Hands-on bench skills: SMT soldering, rework, oscilloscope proficiency.
• Schematic capture using Altium Designer and layout review.

Responsibilities

• Design transmitter analog front-end signal chain and 4-20mA output stage.
• Develop and validate isolation power supplies and power budget analyses.
• Lead bench bring-up, debugging, and characterization with test equipment.
• Support certification activities (FM/UL/CSA) and documentation packages.
• Collaborate with Firmware and Mechanical engineers on platform design.
