Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer intern in the Boston area to contribute to the design, debug, validation, and production support of consumer electronics. You will work with cross‑functional teams to move from concept to validated hardware under real manufacturing conditions.

This 12‑week, full‑time internship requires enrolled students in US programs, 18+ and available 40 hours/week, with a focus on analog/digital design, embedded systems and hands‑on testing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of analog and digital skills.
• Experience in embedded systems projects.
• Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware.
• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other equivalent discipline, with an expected conferral date between Oct 2026 - Dec 2029.

Responsibilities

• Perform schematic design.
• Validate hardware and debug issues.
• Develop automated test tools (labview, HPVEE).
• Travel to support engineering builds.
