Hardware Design Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have 3+yrs experience designing and troubleshooting peripheral circuitry or digital interfaces for FPGA and/or mincorcontrollers.

Key Responsibilities

• Document the design with digital interface for system architecture and design specs
• Provide proof of concept (through simulations, evaulation board...)
• Support schematic capture and board layout on FPGA, microprocessors, and their peripheral circuitry or digital interface
• Provide proof of design through post layout signal integrity simulations on high speed digital interface
• Support system integration
• Support test procedures and repair for production
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have 3+yrs experience designing and troubleshooting peripheral circuitry or digital interfaces for FPGA and/or mincorcontrollers
• System design of FPGA, Microprocesser and CPLD
• EMMC, DDR4, flash memory and digital interface (including SPI, I2C, JTAG, CAN bus)
• Digital circuitry (including TTL, LVTTL, CMOS, LVCMOS, PECL, LVPECL, LVDs)
• Experienced with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies
• Matlab, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, HyperLynx
• Some software experience could help
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
