Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc in Iowa is seeking an Avionics Hardware Design Engineer to contribute to the design, verification, and improvement of avionics hardware used in high‑performance aerospace systems.

You will work across the hardware development lifecycle, performing RF/microwave design, EMI/EMC testing, and hardware qualification, with hands-on SPICE/MATLAB tooling to ensure quality and dependable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–12 years of relevant avionics hardware design experience.
• Strong experience in circuit design and analog design.
• Hands-on experience with RF/microwave design and testing, EMI/EMC testing.
• Experience using SPICE tools such as LTspice, PSpice, or TINA, along with MATLAB.
• Experience with ECAD/PCB design tools.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics hardware, including analog, RF, and microwave circuits.
• Create hardware requirements, specifications, and test plans.
• Perform RF/microwave design and testing, EMI/EMC testing, hardware troubleshooting and debugging, and hardware qualification and environmental testing.
• Use SPICE simulation tools, ECAD/PCB design tools, and MATLAB throughout the design and verification process.
