Job summary

Markesman Group is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer (HDE) to design, test, and reverse engineer ICs and hardware for government needs. The role involves firmware development for DSPs and programmable hardware such as ASICs and FPGAs, with responsibilities across design, documentation, and tool integration.

The candidate will work through Level 1–3 capabilities, including leading designs, providing technical leadership, and overseeing complex projects. A TS/SCI with Full-Scope Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience as a HDE in IC or microelectronic design or reverse engineering required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university required; five (5) years of additional hardware design experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and develop hardware and firmware for ASIC/FPGA devices.
• Lead and assist in reverse engineering of components and firmware.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate P&R tools and design libraries into government CAD environments.
