Job summary

Austin Circuit Design is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer in Richardson, TX for board-level hardware design and PCB layout across analog, digital, RF, and power domains.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong BOM management skills, and proficiency with OrCAD and Allegro. You will work in a collaborative design team and may travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• 10+ years of direct design experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a BOM.
• Experience with Bluetooth, USB 2.0/3.0, SPI and I2C.
• Experience with DDR, Flash, eMMC, UTP.
• Experience with Cameras, MIPI/CSI, LVDS.
• Experience with Ethernet, Wifi, LTE.
• EMI/EMC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Board-level hardware design and PCB layout including analog, digital, RF, and power.
• Debugging hardware designs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
