Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or related field, 2 years of related experience.
• Experience developing software in Python, MATLAB, or C++ is desirable.
• Prior experience with optical modules and/or high-speed electronics would be advantageous.

• Design and develop hardware test boards for characterizing high-speed electro-optical devices.
• Conduct laboratory testing and characterization of electro-optical devices.
• Contribute to the development of System-on-Chip optical engines.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Design and develop hardware test boards for characterizing and testing high-speed electro-optical devices.
• Develop test platforms for both R&D and manufacturing purposes.
• Conduct laboratory testing and characterization of electro-optical devices.
• Contribute to the design and development of System-on-Chip optical engines for telecom, data center, and networking applications.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and expand existing skillsets.
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have :

• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or a related field, 2 years of related experience
• RF and electronic board design skills including schematic capture and PCB layout
• DC level analog design and debugging skills
• Laboratory experience with high speed RF measurement equipment
• Experience building and debugging complicated test systems
• Ability to independently interface with vendors and other third parties
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Graduate degree in electrical engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience. Prior experience with optical modules and/or high speed electronics.
• Experience developing software in Python, MATLAB, or C++ , Lab experience working with optical components and instruments
• Theoretical understanding of coherent optical communication systems
