Job summary

A leading technology firm in Ohio seeks an experienced engineer to design and develop electronic components for new and existing products. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in hardware design, including embedded software, and a degree in a related field. Responsibilities include creating prototypes, schematics, and BOMs. Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork are essential. This role does not accommodate remote work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Hardware design including embedded software.
• Proven track record in hardware/software design environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop electronic aspects of new products and enhancements.
• Create prototype electronic assemblies including schematics and components.
• Involve in creating BOMs and electronic circuit design.

Duties & responsibilities will be for the design & development of the electronic aspects of new products & enhancements to existing products. Will be involved in creating prototype electronic assemblies including schematics, components, creating BOMs & electronic circuit design. Embedded software experience is also necessary on most projects.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and have a proven track record in hardware/software design environment. Be a talented and able to work in a multi-disciplined design & development team. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and creativity skills, honesty and an eagerness to learn and a high level of personal motivation.
