Job summary

Accelevation LLC in Sterling, VA is seeking an Electronics Hardware & Compliance Engineer II to design, source components, develop PCBs, test products, and manage certification activities.

You will work with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and labs to move products from development through testing and production, ensuring UL, IEC, CE, FCC, and EMC compliance and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of electronics hardware design, PCB development, testing, manufacturing, or compliance experience.
• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and update schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Create and maintain component libraries, footprints, BOMs, and PCB manufacturing files.
• Support PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, prototype builds, and production releases.
• Source electronic, electrical, and mechanical components and manage supplier interactions.
• Coordinate internal and external testing and certification activities (UL/IEC/CE/FCC/EMC).
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, drawings, and certification records.
