Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Compliance Engineer to drive EMC and wireless compliance and regulatory verification for our medicine technologies.

This role interfaces with engineering, manufacturing and product support to ensure certification readiness across platforms. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EMC/wireless test labs for medical devices, strong schematic interpretation skills, and experience coordinating with UL and other certifying bodies.

Qualifikationen

• Associates or Bachelors in engineering or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years’ experience with EMC/wireless test houses including medical and non-medical device test projects and approval processes.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Excellent system trouble shooting skills to FRU (or component) level.

Aufgaben

• Drive EMC/wireless compliance for new products and sustaining activities across platforms.
• Lead regulatory verification activities (Safety and EMC/wireless).
• Define, develop, and execute test plans and solve mechanical, EMI, and safety problems.
• Coordinate with NRTLs for product certification and regulatory approvals, including scheduling labs and verifying test results.
• Maintain documentation for product certifications and issue resolution with engineering and manufacturing.
• Create design validation, risk analysis, and design review documentation.
• Lead global EMC and wireless certification activities for products with wireless components.
