Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Hardware Application Engineer in Camarillo, CA. Open to junior candidates with a hands-on engineering mindset to troubleshoot, read schematics, and develop Python scripts in Windows and Linux.

You will work with advanced hardware and software, use test equipment, and support customers while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract-to-hire role with onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 0-3 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and debugging tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $62.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
