Job summary

The Pattie Group is looking for a Landscape Construction Foreman to lead field crews on our most ambitious outdoor projects, ensuring quality workmanship and safe, efficient operations on site. You’ll oversee project progression, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and train crew members to uphold high standards.

You’ll operate company equipment, read plans, supervise tasks, and monitor morale while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Physically able to handle the workload of a Construction Foreman.
  • Able to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner daily.
  • Minimal supervision while directing a crew in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

  • Has a minimum of three years of experience in landscape construction.
  • Thoroughly understands all aspects of landscape construction as outlined above.
  • Operate company equipment: skid steer, mini-excavator, mini-skid steer, tracked loader, chop saws, etc.
  • Perform all daily preventative maintenance on company equipment.
  • Operate a transit, shoot grades, and grade sites.
  • Read landscape plans and drawings.
  • Lead and direct a crew effectively, meeting production standards.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and report unsafe conditions.
  • Complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job.
  • Train crew as a team and maintain morale.

Pay: $20-$28 an hour

The Landscape Construction Foreman must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of landscape construction to include
  • Operating equipment
  • Demolition
  • Site and soil prep
  • Grading
  • Planting
  • Building patios, decks, outdoor kitchens, structures, pools, & water features
  • Interfacing with clients, subcontractors, designers, etc.
Requirements:

  • Able to train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale.
  • Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
