Job summary

Pathfinder Inspections & Field Services is seeking a dependable Hardbanding Technician to apply and repair wear-resistant weld material on drill pipe and components. The role demands welding experience, a Class A CDL, and comfort working outdoors in varied weather in Dickinson, ND. You will operate specialized equipment, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with the crew on fast-paced oilfield projects. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL required with a clean MVR.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Previous hardbanding, NDT inspection, or oilfield experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and procedures.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardbanding applications on drill pipe, tool joints, and other drilling components.
• Operate welding and hardbanding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and handling drill pipe and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality-control requirements.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete jobs efficiently.
