Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE VALLEYS is seeking a part-time Retail Support Associate to assist with donor and customer service at our Roanoke location. You will tag and size apparel, hang items by category, and support quality control while maintaining a clean processing area.

Responsibilities include ensuring 100% donor and customer delight, adhering to safety practices, and participating in store training and other duties as assigned by management.

• Ensures 100% donor and customer delight and provides world class customer service.
• Tag and size apparel and/or hang apparel onto racks by category.
• Assist with quality control assurance (tears, stains, broken zippers, and buttons).
• Maintains accurate count with the goal of 60+ pieces per hour.
• Maintains processing area in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Adheres to all Goodwill personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Manager on Duty.
• May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
• Attends in-service related training as assigned by Store Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Sales Supervisors.
