Shelton Aviation is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Part-Time Hangar Manager to support operations at our aviation facility in Sanford, North Carolina.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is attentive to detail, comfortable working around aircraft and equipment, and committed to providing professional customer service. The Part-Time Hangar Manager will support aircraft movements, facility and equipment care, customer needs, and day-to-day hangar operations under the direction of the Lead Hangar Manager and designated management.
Aircraft Repositioning: Ensure all aircraft are safely, accurately, and efficiently repositioned—maintaining our perfect safety record.
Customer Excellence: Anticipate and fulfill our clients' needs, maintain proactive communication, and ensure customer satisfaction ratings stay at 95% or higher.
Facility & Equipment Care: Oversee meticulous maintenance and cleanliness of the hangar, Shelton Aviation’s aircraft, and company vehicles to uphold our pristine standards.
Operational Leadership: Manage budgeting, operational expenses, and insurance documentation with precision, always optimizing resources and meeting strict compliance standards.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, customers, and partners, ensuring positive feedback and effective collaboration.
This is a part-time, hourly position expected to work approximately 10–25 hours per week.
The schedule may vary depending on aircraft movements, customer needs, staffing coverage, and operational requirements. Some early-morning, evening, weekend, holiday, or on-call availability may be required.
