Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Pine Management, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Handyperson / Painter to join our team. With over 50 years of experience managing multi-family properties across New York City, we are looking to expand our portfolio, which currently includes 38 properties.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional who works well in a team and can adapt to a fast-paced environment. You will work with seasoned professionals in a collaborative setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, primarily at various property locations for repairs, maintenance, apartment turnovers, and other onsite responsibilities.

The candidate should possess:

• At least 3 years of handyperson and painting experience
• Skills in all painting processes (taping, compounding, plastering, sanding, priming) and finishing trades (tile work, grout, caulk, silicone), as well as light plumbing, electrical work, carpentry/sheetrock, and appliance repair
• Effective communication skills with maintenance staff, property managers, vendors, and contractors
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, with a strong ability to follow up and complete tasks

The start date is immediate. Compensation will be based on experience, ranging from $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, in accordance with NYC Pay Transparency Law.
