Job summary

MENTOR Technical Group seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a variety of repair and maintenance tasks compliant with cGMP regulations. Candidates should ideally have an Associate's Degree and relevant experience, with skills ranging from plumbing to electrical work. This is a vital role ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across our locations in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities and regulated environments.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Driver’s license of PR.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
  • Ensure compliance with facilities cGMP regulations and safety requirements.
  • Conduct routine checks and repairs of site equipment and building exteriors.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, light electrical, masonry, plaster, and office fixtures/equipment installation.
  2. Trained and skilled to provide repairs, maintenance work, facilities services, plumbing, ceiling and floor repairs, and small civil work, in compliance with facilities cGMP regulations and safety requirements.
  3. Perform general maintenance including building and site repairs, fencing, painting, tiling, cleaning footpaths, rubbish and recycling bins, etc.
  4. Handle repair and maintenance tasks inside and outside the building, such as installing shelves, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, cleaning lamp shades, and windows. Conduct routine checks and repairs of site equipment and building exteriors.
Educational and Other Requirements:
  • Driver’s license of PR.
  • Preferred: AD in Technical Field, 3-5 years of experience in facilities and regulated environments, ability to work independently.
