Job summary

Fawkes & Reece in Winchester is seeking a Handyperson / Multi-Trader for a temporary full‑time site role, starting ASAP, on an ongoing project.

You will work under the Project Manager and Site Manager, receiving tasks such as installing metal track, metal stud with a concrete board finish, dry lining and carpentry as required.

The ideal candidate holds a current CSCS card, has 2+ years in general building, and owns a selection of hand and power tools; good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• 2+ years of experience in general building.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

The role:

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to installing metal track, metal stud with a concrete board finish.
• Potentially Dry lining the plasterboard as well as carpentry items
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You MUST have a current and valid CSCS card.
• A minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.
