Job summary

Mr. Handyman of Louisville Northeast is growing and seeks a skilled handyman technician to handle residential and light commercial repairs and remodels.

You’ll work independently with strong office support; typical projects range from two hours to two days and pay $900–$1,200 weekly based on experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and drywall. The role includes a company van to take home, gas card, iPad/tablet support, and performance-based earnings with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years paid experience as handyman, remodeler, carpenter, or multi-trade technician.
• Strong proficiency in at least 3 core trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, tile/flooring, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
• Comfortable using mobile/tablet technology for scheduling, documentation, and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of repairs and improvements in homes and commercial properties (carpentry, trim, doors, hardware).
• Diagnose issues and propose practical solutions that meet customer needs.
• Communicate clearly with customers about scope, estimates, materials, and timelines.
• Document jobs (before/after photos, notes) and close invoices using iPad/tablet.
• Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and represent the company professionally.
