Job summary

Mr. Handyman (New) is seeking a Carpenter to perform maintenance, repairs, and carpentry for residential and commercial projects.

You will work with customers to explain work scope and costs, and you’ll build life-long relationships by delivering a superior experience. We offer annual pay from $40,000 to $65,000 based on experience, a company-supplied van with gas card, an iPad and state-of-the-art internal systems, paid holidays and vacation, uniforms, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman.
• Own your own tools.
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle.
• Complete a background and driving record check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Able to work safely at heights and overhead for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance, repairs and carpentry for home and commercial projects.
• Communicate with customers to help them understand what needs to be done and costs.
• Create life-long customers by delivering a great customer experience.
• Self-manage as you’ll often be alone.
• Speak with customers and collect payments while providing excellent service.
• Wear PPE and use PPE to protect the customer’s home.
• Document the job following our process (Mr. Handyman Way).
• Use technology and company tools to support service delivery.
