Job summary

House Doctors is seeking energetic, organized individuals to join our Akron team as a handyman and home improvement professional. Prior experience is helpful but not required; basic construction skills and a strong commitment to customer service are key.

You will complete diverse projects, manage tools and equipment, and represent House Doctors in the local community while delivering high-quality work and outstanding service to homeowners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction or home repair experience.
• Hands on with knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry.
• Drywall finishing/repair experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems.
• Friendly personality and committed to great customer service.
• A strong work ethic and highly dependable.
• Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
• Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks
• Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service
• Representing House Doctors in the local community, and networking with potential customers as needs arise
