Salary-based position in which a technician. Scope of work outlined below.

Salary based on a 40-hour work week at $17-$22 per hour DOE.

Primary Functions and Scope of Position:

Utilize maintenance resources to achieve maximum condition of all facilities of Mountainside Fitness. Facilities maintenance and repair, including basic electric, plumbing, and general repairs.

I. JOB-RELATED REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout the club and equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot & assess equipment problems and develop possible cost-effective solutions.
  • Experience & knowledge of mechanical equipment repair & maintenance.
  • Demonstrate responsibility, dependability & consistency in communicating messages & completing tasks.
  • Possess problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrate self-motivated and self-directed behavior such as seeking out additional duties.
  • Physical ability to complete job-related tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers, and members.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Successful completion of Manage Staff training, drug testing, and Mountainside Training Program.

II. JOB-RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Offer cost-effective solutions and alternatives to maintenance-related issues and projects.
  • Maintain minimal downtime on all facility repairs, defined as 48 hours or less when controllable; communicate via spike plans and eta when uncontrollable.
  • Work closely with Apex Fitness on all equipment repairs and downtime, understanding and communicating eta and solutions effectively.
  • Communicate with GM on all projects and daily productivity.
  • Complete a Site Audit once per week and submit to GM and the President/COO.
  • Utilize company-approved resources for additional repairs and information. Complete appropriate paperwork accurately, including equipment repair/problems, incident/corrective action reports, etc.
  • Assist with special projects including club openings.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

III. OTHER:

  • Report directly to your club’s GM and work closely with the President/COO.
  • Location and hours of position may change as needed with advance notice.
  • Performance reviews conducted annually by the President/COO.
