Job summary

Vitality Staffing is in search of a dedicated handyman for their North Bergen location. The role involves performing general construction work, including tasks like painting, drywall installation, and various maintenance repairs.

Candidates must be flexible with working hours, have a valid driver’s license, and possess their own transportation. Ideal candidates will also have experience with tools, and certifications for operating a Sit-down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack will be a valuable addition.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on offices and warehouse facilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Job description

Hours: 6:00AM–4:00PM (or until finished). Must be flexible with overtime and willing to stay late when necessary.

• We are looking for a general handyman with flexible working hours, (at the beginning while on training the working hours will vary from 6:00am-4:00pm or until the work is done; after training the hours may change.)
• Candidate must have the experience & ability to do general construction work, including but not li mited to painting, drywall, flooring, snow removal, and any other miscellaneous repairs.
• Must have a wide range of skills and experience on Maintenance and Repairs of Offices & Warehouse Facilities; Install/repair/replace warehouse racks; (Any additional interior & exterior maintenance/repairs work).
• Should have experience with using equipment, power/electric tools, hand tools.
• Should have a valid driver’s license and own transportation for commuting purposes. (Won’t be diving a Company’s vehicle).
• Will be very helpful as well if they have experience and are certified to drive a Sit-down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.This will be a plus but not required
