Job summary

Monty's Handyman Services is seeking a full-time handyman in Houston to deliver top-tier remodeling and repair services. You will perform hands-on work, estimate projects, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality on larger jobs.

You will also build relationships with clients, property managers, and vendors to support ongoing service delivery. We value dependable, leadership-driven team players who communicate clearly, are growth-minded, and comfortable using technology for estimates

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle).
• Verifiable experience in remodeling, handyman work, or general construction.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using technology for estimates, scheduling, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and scope out handyman and remodeling jobs.
• Complete hands-on handyman work (excluding licensed trades like electrical and plumbing).
• Manage subcontractors and oversee quality on larger projects.
• Perform work for our membership program clients (routine maintenance and repairs).
• Drop off folders and build relationships with property managers and condos.
• Collaborate with third-party referral partners.
• Attend weekly team meetings and training.
• Represent Monty's with pride, integrity, and professionalism.

What You'll Do

No two days are the same. One day you're installing trim and drywall, the next you're walking a customer through an estimate or managing a crew of subcontractors on a kitchen remodel. You'll be the face of Monty's-delivering top-tier handyman services and managing relationships with clients and vendors.
