Axionova Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across various job sites. Your hands-on expertise will be essential in ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position involves traveling to different sites, and travel expenses will be fully compensated.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting to ensure the functionality and aesthetic appeal of facilities and structures.
• Repairs: Diagnose and resolve issues related to equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure, performing necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Installation: Install and maintain various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Site Management: Oversee maintenance and repair projects from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed within specified timelines and to quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks, share information, and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent on tasks, materials used, and any issues encountered, to support project reporting and billing.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance tasks.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, perform manual labor, and work in various weather conditions. Must have good stamina and physical strength.
• This position involves travel to various job sites, requiring flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing environments and schedules. All travel-related expenses will be reimbursed by the company.
