Your Responsibilities as a Handyman Professional

• Completing Maintenance & Repairs: Performing small to medium maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial projects, ranging from two hours to two days.
• Customer Communication: Explaining work scope, managing expectations regarding costs and timelines, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Create Life-Long Customers: Delivering exceptional service consistently to foster repeat business, following the Mr. Handyman Way process.

Performance Metrics

We will evaluate your performance based on:

• Customer Satisfaction (NPS): Encouraging customers to complete surveys and achieving high response and satisfaction rates.
• Revenue Target: Maintaining and increasing service opportunities with each customer.
• Effective Billing Rate: Proper invoicing, sourcing materials, and collecting payments.
• Recall Percentage: Ensuring work is done correctly the first time, as we guarantee our work for one year.

Job Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

• Residence within the service area
• At least 8 years of paid handyman experience
• Ownership of personal tools
• Insurability to drive our vehicle
• Background and driving record checks
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
• Capability to work safely at heights and overhead
• Professional appearance and vehicle maintenance

Proficiency in at least three of the following areas is preferred:

• Carpentry
• Bathroom and kitchen improvements
• Painting (interior and exterior)
• Drywall repairs
• Plumbing and electrical (where legal)
• Flooring installation and refurbishing
• Knowledge of building codes
