Job summary

Mr Handyman of Central MetroWest in Massachusetts seeks a skilled Handyman to perform residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement work in the MetroWest region, including Greater Worcester. You are hardworking, a team player, and dedicated to quality work in all tasks.

Past handyman or maintenance experience is highly preferred, and a positive attitude is required. You will interact with customers professionally and handle tasks from furniture assembly to major remodeling.

Qualifications

• Must have handyman or general maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations (OSHA).
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and work at heights up to 30 ft with ladder or lift.
• Familiar with carpentry methods, tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• General handyman tasks: assemble furniture, hang fixtures, gutters, drywall repair, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Complex tasks: repair doors/cabinetry, fix trim, adjust hardware, reinforce structures.
• Larger scale remodeling and finishing: drywall, flooring, painting, and room remodeling.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Handyman to join our team! In this role, you will perform residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement work in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts, as well as Greater Worcester.

You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a handyman and/or maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• General Handyman Tasks:Perform routine property upkeep and minor repairs, including assembling furniture, hanging fixtures and artwork, clearing gutters, patching minor drywall damage, and addressing basic preventative maintenancerequests.
• Complex Handyman Tasks: Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical, structural, and carpentry issues, such as repairing misaligned doors and cabinetry, fixing broken trim, adjusting specialized hardware, and reinforcing damaged structural frameworks.
• Larger Scale Remodeling & Finishing: Execute comprehensive space updates and structural finishing, including hanging and finishing full sheets of drywall, installing hardwood or laminate flooring, applying professional-grade interior/exterior painting, and assisting with full room remodeling projects.

• Must be qualified to perform at heights above thirty (30) feet with the use of a ladder, lift, or bucket truck boom
