Handy Banjo, Inc. is looking for a Landscaping Technician.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Landscaping Contractor (Insured) to take on subcontract work at Handy Banjo. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to the care and upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring they remain healthy, attractive, and functional.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to promote healthy growth.
• Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to ensure optimal hydration.
• Utilize power tools safely for various landscaping tasks, including but not limited to lawn care and tree care.
• Build and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases and take appropriate action.
• Provide mechanical knowledge by performing basic repairs on landscaping equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field (5+ years).
• Equipment required: edger, lawnmower, trimmer, blower, rakes, commercial garbage bags, etc.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, planting, and disease management.
• Must have a vehicle to carry equipment to the location.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
