Job summary

Spring Footwear Corp. in Pompano Beach is seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, focusing on accuracy, productivity, and on-time order fulfillment.

You will coach supervisors and associates on processes, safety, and performance; partner with HR and management to resolve issues; and help drive continuous improvements across receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping. This is an on-site leadership role requiring hands-on floor presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent warehouse leadership experience will be considered.
• 3+ years in progressive warehouse/distribution with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement.
• Coordinate daily workflow and priorities across functions based on orders, deadlines, staffing, and needs.
• Provide day-to-day direction to supervisors and leads to ensure work is assigned and completed.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, attendance, and quality; address issues as they arise.
• Ensure on-time shipping while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and staffing gaps; work with Warehouse Manager to resolve.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Coach and develop supervisors, leads, and associates on processes, safety, and performance.
• Support onboarding and training of new warehouse staff and enforce training completion.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal procedures.
