Job summary

Premier DataCom, Inc. is seeking a full-time on-site Warehouse Manager in Austin, TX to oversee daily warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on stock control, inventory accuracy, and equipment readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and tools, maintaining records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring safety, training, and proper allocation of equipment for field teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse teams and coordinating daily operations.
• Strong inventory control and cycle count knowledge.
• Ability to implement safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Proven vendor and supplier coordination experience.
• Proactive communicator with field teams and project staff.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: manage warehouse organization, issue materials, and schedule stock replenishment with director approval.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain timecards, communicate with crews and vendors, and notify managers of shortages or delays.
• Inventory & Stock Control: maintain records, conduct cycle counts, track high-value equipment, and manage stock levels.
• Job Staging & Kitting: prepare materials per BOM, stage before installation, coordinate deliveries and storage.
• Receiving & Shipping: inspect deliveries, document receipts, report issues, and coordinate returns/credits.
• Purchasing & Returns: create purchase orders, track orders, and process returns as needed.
