Job summary

Honolulu Cookie Company is seeking a Distributions Manager to oversee all operations in the Distribution Center, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, delivery and fleet management. The role requires a hands-on leader who is on the floor daily, drives performance, and develops the team while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The position entails working with HR for hiring and training, budgeting for labor and expenses, and coordinating with departments to maintain timely,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people management experience leading teams
• Strong understanding of fulfillment and distribution processes
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and 3PL shipping systems a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, IATA and 49CFR regulations for fleet compliance
• Proven ability to manage through urgency and escalation protocols
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all distribution center operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping and delivery
• Maintain floor presence and lead by example, fostering accountability and trust
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet quality and compliance standards
• Conduct regular staff meetings and one-on-one coaching to drive performance
• Ensure safe, inclusive, and high-performance work environment
• Monitor fleet operations and enforce preventive maintenance and regulatory compliance
• Forecast distribution needs and assist in budgeting and scheduling
• Identify efficiency improvements across processes and layouts
