Job summary

RJI Search partners with a growing Houston-based company seeking a hands-on Controller/VP of Finance to lead core accounting operations and drive planning and analysis. You will own month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

You will oversee treasury, tax compliance, and reporting infrastructure, providing actionable insights to leadership. Requires 10+ years in finance, Big 4 preferred, strong US GAAP knowledge, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience in a hands-on role.
• Big 4 or public accounting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee treasury, banking relationships, AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Develop and improve financial processes, controls, systems and reporting infrastructure.
• Provide timely financial analysis, KPIs, and insights for decision-making.
• Partner with CEO and leadership on planning and capital allocation.
• Manage and develop the finance/accounting team and external advisors.
