Job summary

Full Vision Inc in Newton, KS is seeking a hands-on tube bending/forming technician for a full-time, 1st shift role. You will operate bending/forming equipment, read blueprints, and produce quality parts while solving process challenges.

Collaborate with Engineering to develop new parts, set up dies and tooling, and perform first-piece inspections. Maintain tooling, inspect with calipers, and ensure safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in tube bending and/or tube forming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tube bending and tube forming equipment.
• Work with Engineering to develop new parts and gather data for prints.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Make machine and tooling adjustments to achieve proper dimensions, angles, and shapes.
• Inspect parts using calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with bends, tooling, materials, and machine settings.
• Learn and apply techniques to prevent spring back, wrinkling, flattening, cracking, and distortion.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
